Has Samsung released their 2010 models yet ?

For instance Panasonic went from S1 (2009) to S2 (2010). Plus their site breaks their products down between 2009 and 2010.

Having problems telling if Samsung models are 2010 or 2009 models.

Any help is appreciated.

The Samsung 2010 TVs will have a "C" on the model designation.

ok thanks. Everything I've been looking at in the stores and online have been "B's" (aka 2009) models.
Strange that 2010 Panasonics are out and the 2010 Samsungs are not.

I just picked up the 46" 8500 series for $1475. Word is the 2010s will not have localized dimming instead focusing on the 3D and slimness. That may make the 8500 a HOT commodity for those not caring about 3D.

Now I have t unload my XBR!

Anyone purchase a C550 yet ?
Wondering how they look.

I noticed HH Gregg has the 50" version in stock.

I went into Best Buy yesterday looking for a Panny and all they had was the S2 for full $1299 retail. No way was I paying that when online it can be had for $1039.

So I went over to HH Gregg next door and they said they were still in price negotiations with Panny on the 2010's. So to make up for not having any in stock they gave me the Samsung PN58B550 for $1350 (original sales price was $1869). Cheapest I found online was $1500 so I feel I got a pretty nice set for a decent amount.

Also I read about the remote trick that adds the Cinematic Smoothing making it essentially a B560 model.

I have a Samsung 550 series (A series days) 1080p LCD and very happy with it - offers more PQ controls than any other make, IMO.

Panasonic is a good brand, but their LCD model range is pretty limited.
