Two days ago, I put in a regular DVD and it played, but none of the controls would work, neither on the machine, nor the remote. I changed the batteries on the remote, and same thing. The only thing I can do (from the remote only) is power on and off, and eject. Nothing else works. When the main menu comes on, can't play the movie because no buttons work. Machine is 7 months old, so of course Samsung said I would have to pay for labor which would probably be the cost of a new machine, which at this point won't be a samsung. Anyone else have these issues? I updated to the latest firmware couple of months or so ago.
Thanks

If you contact with Samsung Customer Service, you may get more support for the issue.

In my view, Samsung Customer Service is one of the best, they won't disappoint you.
