s-video maximum length

Hi all,

Just wondering what is the maximum length S-video cable to connect a Plasma TV to a DVD Player? I saw a 150 ft cable being sold by a cable vendor. Any comment is greatly appreciated.

Here you go

The sugested max length is 50 ft. but that is even too much for me. But if you have to do long runs make sure you add an amplifier to it to boost the signal loss.
