I have a pair of Monitor RX6 arriving at the end of this week. I am looking for a receiver that will drive these speakers to produce sound perfection....
My budget ranges from $500-$1,200. I am willing to spend more than $1,200 if you really think the receiver is worth it. I was thinking the Pioneer Elite SC-68 or something in the high end Yamaha series. While I like the power specs on these receivers, do I really need to spend that much money for bells and whistles that I may never need or use in these receivers? I would really like internet connection, sirius, pandora etc etc and an excellent video upscaler. I plan to add a subwoofer and surrounds later. I would consider older models if you think they are excellent. Would save money too.
