RCA cable signal degradation

Before I buy a 2nd turntable to be used to attach to my computer to digitize vinyl, I'm thinking of getting some 25 foot RCA patch cable to run from one side of the room (where computer is) to the other (where turntable is). Trying to avoid disconnecting the turntable and moving it 25 feet away just to digitize a few older vinyl records. Just lazy I guess! Will there be much signal degradation in 25 feet? I already have Pro-Ject phono box usb at computer.

I'd think about getting a 25 ft USB cable instead, and park the Pro-Ject box with the turntable. Since the goal is to capture the best possible analog signal, keep your analog run short and simply send the digital signal across the room.
