Are there any other children of the 50's who remember this movie? I loved it since I was the same age as this kid when I first saw it.

Not a child of the '50s, but that was my first thought from the image too. Whether it is or isn't, I still like that movie. (1953 version that is).

That scared the crap out of me. I was maybe five or six and saw it on TV I guess in reruns.
Don't think I ever knew the mane of it.

It scared me, too. I checked the back of everones neck for the next few weeks. And, for the twister crew, no, it wasn't a porno movie.

I saw this sometime later in the 60's scared the crap out of me.
