Question Re: BookShelf Speakers

I have been looking at a couple of threads regarding bookshelf speakers for my surround sound system (5.1). I think I am trying to decide between these two speakers for my front:

Monitor Audio MR1 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker, Pair-Can get for $250 on Amazon

HTD Level two Speakers-$199 (it wont let me post the link to HTD's website).

Is it worth the extra $60 to go for the Monitor Audio's?? There are not a lot of reviews on them. TIA

My subjective answer is no - the choice is still up to you.

However, if looking at HTD - there are some B-stock speakers here >
A good price on the Level Three speakers
B-Stock

Have you heard either of them? What speakers have you heard that you've liked? IMO, if you haven't heard either of these, then it is tough to recommend them to you.

Just looking for good quality home theater speakers. Watch movies/tv/play video games 90% and listen to music 10%. The only other speakers I have/had are Bose, Yamaha and Sony.

Either choice, would be a ear and eye opener for you.
