Hi,
I am new and hope I am posting to the right place. I have a vintage Pioneer PDM530 cd player that is missing the laser lens. I know it missing because I took it apart. I know that they can fall out. My question is, do I need to replace the whole unit or can I just purchase the lens?
Thank you

You likely wouldn't be able to fit your the lens yourself, you'd have to find an entire laser unit if that's even possible. All told, if you did it yourself you'd probably end up spending more than a reasonable replacement for the player would cost.
