PC and other components

Can you place a PC beside other components and speakers? I was thinking of placing it beside my subwoofer but I'm worried that it might cause interference( or worse, break either one). Has anyone done this before?

Shouldn't be a problem....

Give a go, and see how it works... People put DVR's next to stuff like that all the time... which is basically a computer anyways... :)

A lot of subs aren't magnetically shielded. The effect of their magnetic field diminishes with distance, and I'd guess that you won't see much effect at around two feet away. Hard drives don't tend to like external magnetic fields, at least if you want to keep your data intact. I do NOT know if the field from a sub is strong enough to corrupt data on a hard drive, but I wanted to point this out.

Thanks, will definitely try it. I just hope my speakers don't shake my newly built computer too much.
