PARASOUND P/HP-850 stereo preamp or use Integra DTR 7.1 as preamp

Hi,

I have been investing recently to improve stereo sound but have read about using a separate preamp instead of using a receiver as a preamp.

My front speakers are Paradigm Studio 60 v3. I am currently using my HT receiver (Integra DTR 7.1) as preamp to feed the amplifier (Parasound HCA 1500).

Do you think I can improve the stereo sound by using a dedicated preamp (used PARASOUND P/HP-850) instead of the Integra receiver as a preamp?
