Will a high quality 50wpc amplifier (Creek Evolution 50a) work well with the Paradigm Studio 10s v 5, or do the latter need more power? What about the Paradigm Signature Reference 1 v 3?

Thanks!

Without question, assuming a normal home size listening room. The speakers are plenty efficient.

Ditto to what FMW said. The plus side too if you want better performance and dynamics you can always upgrade the amp down the road.

The original poster seemed to be interested in small, high quality, monitors or book shelf speakers. Although the OP may be long gone, I recently saw a review of Salk WOW1 speakers that might be of interest.

The Salk WOW1 is a small 2-way speaker, 7" wide × 9" deep × 10¾" high. They sell for $1200 a pair in 5 different standard veneers, and more for custom finishes.

The review shows several different photos of WOW1s with nice looking veneers.

The Studio 10 v.5 has similar specifications as the MilleniaOne Satellite. Using the MilleniaOne with the similarly spec'd, older and probably less effective, TEAC A-1D integrated produces very good results, a better power match could not likely be asked for. The power handling of the Studio 10 exceeds the MilleniaOne because it uses a more larger diameter and more robust mid-bass driver with a significant amount more cabinet volume. Being that the TEAC A-1D handles the MilleniaOne so well I would feel confident your Creek will have more than enough dynamic power to keep pace with the demands of the Studio 10 speaker system.
