Most likely they are the first version. Probably 15 years old. I wouldn't buy them.

$100 seems a bit high for those, even with stands.

Also the woofer foam surrounds, may be dry-rotted.

Were the grilles removable on the Gen 1s? I think they were, but most of the subsequent versions you could not access the driver for a refoam and that would be an issue. Though I think the v2s and up used a paper woofer with rubber surround.

No, you had to go from the back-side in - the same with the PSB Alpha, and
even Mirage had a monopole speaker, you had to go in from the back side.

The woofers were mounted from the inside.

The Titans had a 6" woofer - the Phantom had an 8" woofer
Was going to say, those are probably Phantoms, not Titans. Titans are smaller than those; those stepped up a level and became the Monitor 3, and the 8" versions of Paradigms have not been their strong suit so I'd still probably avoid them.

Yep, those would be v1s. v2 and up had the molded plastic back end.

I've got a set of v3 and they do not look like that, but you are right you cannot take take the grills off. I bought mine w/o stands for 50.00 so depending on the stands....

They look even bigger than the Phantoms and could possibly be 3SE which I am still currently running without a refoam ever needed....since 1991. If you can get the seller to take a pic of the back stickers that will help identify proper model.

Turns out they are Phantoms and are 19 years old, but work great still. Any thoughts?!

The seller said they are actually Phantoms and he had posted them incorrectly. He has the receipt, and he got them new 19 years ago. He said they still perform great, so I'm gonna go over this evening and take a look! Any input on the Phantoms?

At that price with stands, not too bad. Let your ears decide; we can't tell you what you like.
