Hi. I am looking for your opinion on the following. I currently run paradigm studio 40s as my fronts with a cc590 for my center with mini monitors as my rears. here is my question. I am lookiung to upgrade my mini monitors to the ref line. In my area I can not audition the studio series.in your opinion which is better studio 20s or adp 590 for rears. my current ver is 4 . I am interested in paradigm only and appreciate any opinions . Thanks. I listen to music and watch movies 50 /50.

The ADP's will give a difference sound than the direct sound from the mini. If you like the sound of the mini, then the studio will not add major improvement for your rears. The sound from the rears, don't stress the speakers as the LCR. I have the mini as my wides and the studio 20 for the mains, and they blended wel with the mains. Most will suggest you getting identical speakers for the LCR and wides, but I don't agree. Anyway the ADP will be beter than both studio 20 and minis.
