hello, i am researching into bass traps/panel absorbers and im pretty confused. I understand how they work in principle i think but im missing something obvious. My dumb qiestion is this- is a cupboard a bass trap? or a empty wooden stage below performers at a live gig? or does it have the opposite effect of drum-like acoustic amplfication of the bass?
or in these dimensions is the resonant frequency so low it doesnt have a percieved effect?
Any help would be very welcomed.
