Onkyo's HTiB subwoofers are pretty impressive

About 2 years ago I bought an Onkyo HTiB (ht s3500) for a small room, the front speakers were replaced with a pair of Klipsch bookshelfs and the center channel was discarded (not far enough apart to matter to me) but the passive subwoofer included (driven by the receiver) has remained this whole time. It's 8 inches and ported and appears to drop off sharply at about 30hz, but other then that the thing has been very impressive for an included sub, so much so I have never gotten around to replacing it nor do I see the need to. It's fairly accurate (no excessively louder notes) and does not suffer from any sort of noticeable distortion even under heavy LFE.

Anybody else had similar experiences with their HTiBs?
