Onkyo TX-NR646 Assigned internet stations do not play

NR646 “Registering a [internet] Station with PC” pg. 25 in manual

I am able to access my receiver on a Microsoft Edge browser web page using the receiver’s IP address.

I have entered various radio stations under “My Favorites” [see attached]

Using a variety of supported extensions: .m3u

NO SOUND.

What am I missing?

Have you created and logged into a TuneIn account to access presets and your favorites?

Yes, and it works. However, I would prefer to enter stations directly avoiding paying for the service to eliminate ads.
