Noise cancelling Headphones

I wanted some advice, if I should sell my bose quiet comfort 15 headphones and get Sony MDR-NC300D Noise Canceling Earphones.

I have not used the Sony units, but have been very impressed with the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 over the ear headphones. Often of sale, google for pricing.

Having read steady review of headphones for a long time - Bose have a reputation for being overpriced for what you get. Sennheiser is a trusted brand in headphones and make reasonably priced noise cancelling cans (as we headphone-fans are fond of calling them).

Personally I use Grado at my desk and love 'em, but they're definitely not noise cancelling.
