I purchased this unit with it's separate (and very impressive controle box) that allows for the plugin of a second NHT SUB 2 woofer in the previously enjoyed market and for the last year I have had no problems and have enjoyed it's performance in my HT very much.
Some thing blew inside the sub (not the controle box) where there is a Sunfire 500w amp. The fellow who fixes all my electronics is in a quandry because he can't find the short. Each new piece he puts in blows and it's back to square 1.
Toronto Ontario is not rife with NHT experts but any of you that may have experienced a similar problem (and of course have found a solution) please comment.
Prior to this sub I had a Paradigm PDR8 which I sold to one of our members. It is a great little sub but I was looking for something that went a little lower.
Anyway maybee you've had a similar problem and the solution is something we hanven't thought of.
