I just bought some Classic 3s and I really like almost everything about them. Except for piano music: pianos sound weird through these speakers. They sound sort of dull and remote, but then there are overtones that stick out like sore thumbs. I don't understand why this is: cymbals, rim shots, and other high frequency stuff sounds brilliant and natural.
So here's my question: has anyone else noticed this with their Classic 3s? Is this something that will go away as the speakers get conditioned? I bought them direct and can return them within 30 days, but I only have a week left to decide.
