This may sounds like a case of extremes but I need an amp to drive my Maggie 1.6QRs. I have been out of the audio scene for several years. On a gut level the best amplifier I have ever heard was a classic GAS Son of Ampzilla. Should I pick one of these up to drive my Maggies? I once used one on my Maggie IIBs and I was in sonic heaven.
On the other hand, these new Panasonic digital amps/receivers sound very interesting. Should I buy the latest technology here or go with vintage gear?
