Newbie building home theater

Hi guys,
First of all, just wanted to say thank you in advance for any help. I'm new to the forums and I figured this would be a good place to ask for some advice on building a home theater. I have no idea where to start with the choice of receiver/speakers/tv/seats/etc.

Some information:
The room is a basement - small room that I'm putting for the theater is roughly 15' long by 10' wide.
I'd like to be conscious of the budget, but I also want a quality system.
I'd like to put a total of 5 seats, a row of 3 and a row of 2. I found a nice setup at Bob's (http://www.mybobs.com/gladiator-power-dual-reclining-console-loveseat & http://www.mybobs.com/gladiator-power-dual-reclining-sofa) which seem to be the most affordable legitmate seats around. Would love to hear any feedback as well.

Some questions:
  1. Given the size of the room, a 5.1 system should be sufficient right?
  2. What TV size would you recommend for a room of this size? I was thinking 65'' would be a good fit, but then again what do I know.
  3. Any recommendations on a good receiver for the price?
  4. Any recommendations on a 5.1 speaker system? I was looking at the Pioneer Andrew Jones speaker set, which I heard good things about, however was advised not to buy until they come on sale which they do quite often: http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-SP-PK52FS-Theater-Speaker-Package/dp/B00IK8I9K2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1459383590&sr=8-4&keywords=Andrew+Jones
  5. Anything else should I be thinking about?

Many thanks in advance. If this is an incorrect forum to post in, please let me know.

You have a lot of information here, but you left out the most important piece... your budget. Also are you going to be using this system for 100% movie/TV? or will there be music listening as well.
For your TV 65" is good but if you are doing a dedicated theater room that has appropriate light control you may also consider a projector, often times you can get an awesome projector setup for really damn close to the the price of that 65" TV depending on how good your light control is.
5.1 should serve you just fine... for receivers I would look here

Denon is usually safe.
As for speakers... we are going to need more of a budget so we can point you in a direction towards speakers to check out

I have a 65" Sony 4k.. it cost me about 2500 it's really nice..if that's in your budget. It's thin and fairly light for its size so easily mountable to the wall. Thin frame for a clean look. I would definitely recommend it for movies and the whole theatre expierience. :)
