I am in the process of changing speakers. Here is my current setup

pioneer sc-05

polk csi5 center

Polk RTi8 ( fronts)

Polk Monitor 70 series 2 ( rear surround)

Polk Monitor 60 (side surround)

Paradigm dsp-3200

I am going to sell my monitor towers and I am switching to 5.1 because of my room layout. I am going to use polk FXi A4 for surrounds. I am thinking of getting a SVS pb-2000 to replace my paradigm. Would that be a significant upgrade? Also, here is a pic of my room. I'm not sure where to put the surrounds. I can put them on the back wall or side wall. I would love to do 7.1 but with my couch against the wall I don't think it will work well.

In regards to the sub, what would be the better purchase? HSU or SVS no more than $900.

The PB2000 and VTF3MK5 are both excellent options, and I think the choice is as simple as which one looks better to you.

I think that's what I'm going to get. It has been a tough decision between svs and hsu.
