Ive been snooping around this forum for a few weeks now and decided to finally join. Im from Arizona and am working through ASU's mechanical engineering program, which leaves little time and money to play with my theater but its slowly getting built/upgraded as I can...

Here is my setup:
Toshiba 52" HD RPCRT
Toshiba HDMI upconverting dvd player
Onkyo TX-SR674 receiver
Onkyo 6-disk CD changer
DirectTv H-20
Xbox 360

For speakers I am currently using some mid level Onkyo 5.1 speakers with a custom built Dayton sub. Plans are in the works for building a new set of speakers though...

Welcome. Looking at kits or going to go cowboy and try to design your own?

Building my own. Ive already done a 2.1 set form my stereo and a few subs for myself and friends. Figure I will use some drivers from Daytons new reference series, I have been impressed with there 10" HF sub so far.
