Need suggestions on setting up a 5.1 system in my living room

I am wanting to setup a 5.1 system in my living room. I need suggestions on speaker location. This is the basic layout of the room. One odd thing is that the wall with the entertainment center built in angles inward about 5 foot up from the floor. The room has 8ft ceilings. The long wall is about 24 feet long and the wall with the entertainment center is about 16 feet. Not sure on equipment yet but I'm open to suggestions. Or would it be best to just stick to a sound bar? Thanks

I would turn the couch so it is more forward on the left, more parallel with the TV. The current setup makes it really hard to setup surround sound to work well for any one seating position (much less more than one).
