Need some help with my floorstanding speakers

I was curious about the woofers. I have a pair of KLH (model #9912B) 250 watt 3-way speakers. The woofers are 12 in ea, is it possible for me to swap the sub with a car sub or sub from a home theater sub?

No. that 12" speaker in your system is a woofer, not a subwoofer. These are two different creatures. They may be the same size but they are made to cover different audio ranges.
