Music for exercise room

Hi folks,

I'm setting up a music system for my exercise room in the basement. I'm going for a 2.1 setup. Music source will be a Squeezebox streaming FLAC files from my music server.

I already ordered the gear, but I am starting to second guess my choice of receiver. Since this is only a stereo setup, I was reluctant in spending alot on a fancy receiver. I ordered a subwoofer, so now I'm thinking how this is going to work with cheap sony receiver.

Here is what I ordered:

Sony STR-DH100 2-Channel Audio Receiver
Polk Audio PSW10 10-Inch Powered Subwoofer
Polk Audio RC85i 2-Way In-Wall Speakers

By specs, it looks like the sony has 2 audio outputs - whatever that means ...maybe for a tape loop? Can I use this for the subwoofer?

Did I make the wrong choice on this Sony STR-DH100? Would I have to run 8 speaker wires to the sub to get this thing working?! (L/R in, L/R Out)

I ordered from Amazon, so I can return once I receive it.

Thanks
Jason

It'll work. Hook it up with speaker wire and using the crossover on the sub.
