Multiple Bedroom HT remodel questions

Background:
I won a small 17" wide screen Flat Panel LCD at a trade show few months back. Didn't really know what to do with it. Talked my wife into letting us put in our bedroom when we remodeled it. My original Home Theater plan got scaled back to just the TV and a DVD player after we went over-budget on the materials for the bedroom and corresponding bathroom remodel (darn Home Depot). Here is a layout of the room:

Questions:
1) I would like to use component video between the TV and DVD player. Problem is there is no place to put the DVD player close to the TV. So I figured that I would put it on the shelf in the closet. Any other suggestions? What is the best 25-30ft component video cable for the least amount of money? Right now I am leaning toward a NXG Sapphire 30' for $25.

2) To get the cable to the other side of the room, I figured I would use 1.5 in electrical conduit down the wall through the floor into the crawl space and then over to the other wall. How do I make this look good coming out of the wall? Do they make face plates for component cabes?

3) Is there a standard height that I should hang this TV on the wall?

1. Yes, the wire seems to be a good deal @$25. If you haven't seen that wire at that length tested though, you're flying blind.

2. Yes they do make faceplates.

3. Height for bedroom viewing is whatever makes sense. Do you like looking through your toes? Suggest just putting at the most comfortable viewing height.
