Mini Movie Posters

Here's a couple of new items due for release later this year. They're mini 3-D movie poster from McFarlane (www.spawn.com)

They are 8 1/2" x 12 3/4" x 2"

Another site with movie props and collectables

Am I allowed to mention my own site? If so, it's
www.quitebizarre.co.uk.
If not, I suppose the mod should remove this?

what do you guys think about Master Replicas vs Icons for their star wars lightsaber replicas? o_O

Nice list, although from the looks of your HT, you seem to have already acquired all the good stuff! :) Do you happen to have a similar list for movie posters? I am looking for some rather obscure titles (Marty, with Ernest Borgnine, for example), and would be very interested in any site tips you may have.

"Can you even get Icons props anymore??? I thought they went out of business."

They did go out of business, but you can still get them on ebay/shops. Those FX sabers do look pretty cool, but I was referring more to the lightsaber hilt replicas (e.g. Luke Skywalker's ANH from Master Replicas vs Icons). There are minor differences... my friend has the Icons version and I was thinking of getting the Master Replicas version. Just wondering if you guys have any opinions on why one would be better than the other...

Things I've dug up on the net about the Luke ANH saber (dont hold me to it):
- Icons version is based more on promotional materials (like posters) whereas Master Replicas is based more on the actual prop
- Icons was the first license version, but had 10,000 made
- Master Replicas isnt the first licensed version, but is limited to 2,000 copies
- Some of the MR fanboys claim the MR version is made of better materials and feels more solid

p.s. I'm really tempted to get the MR Darth Maul double bladed saber FX... it looks awesome =)

I would definitely buy the Master Replica stuff. They also have a sweet Darth Vader helmet. I missed out on the Aliens motion tracker and the plasma rifle :(

I also like Sideshow Toys version of the Terminator skull better than the Icons version. The only problem with Sideshow is you have to pre-order items WAY in advance if you want any hope of being one of the lucky few to receive the item. Usually about a year.

Palisades made a whole line of Muppets. Some of the stuff is discontinued, but look on Ebay. There was about 10 different series put out. Palisades is under a new company:

Thanks, those ones from sababa are what I am looking for. Perfect. :) I want to get a bunch of them on a shelf and then also have to the two old dudes up high on a small balcony/shelf overlooking the home theater room. Would that be cool or what :)
