I know in-ceiling is not optimal for a center channel. Right now in my living/great room I have all speakers in the wall or in ceiling. I currently using a Bic acoustech 8 inch 2way in ceiling in front of my tv. I have 10' ceiling in this portion of the house open floor plan with the kitchen. The tv is above the fire place which is very high but works well as all the chairs are far enough back so you do not stress your neck to watch plus you can sit in kitchen and watch as well. The acoustech performs well I am just wondering if the Monoprice 3 way may be a little better as a center channel. Also looks like I could angle the mid and tweeter toward the listening area. With the bic I have the tweeter pointed to the middle of the listening area.
