Klipsch Icon 6-1/2" Floor Speakers for $350/pair??

Hey All,

I realize that the Klipsch Icon series are big box "Best Buy specials" and are by no means great speakers. That being said, I'm just looking for a set of floor speakers for my small city apartment that will provide solid sound at low-medium volumes for under $500/pair. At their $700/pair MSRP, these would normally be out of my price range, but BB is having a Black Friday sale and they're 50% off, so $350/pair.

For that price tag are these a good buy or can I still do better for $350-$500??

This is where having a big box store with a liberal return policy around the corner comes in handy.

The only way to really know if you like 'em or not is to try them at home.

I suggest you buy them, keep all packing materials and your receipt, and try them at home. If, after a week or so (or as long as they allow), you still don't like 'em, then pack 'em up and bring 'em back for a refund.
