Jeff Lorber: Galaxy is one of the few CD’s I’ve purchased “at the gig†from an artist. If this was an LP, I would have worn out the grooves long ago! This CD will please both fans from the Jeff Lorber Fusion days (1970’s to early 1980’s), as well as those who discovered him in his “post-pop†era (1990’s to present).

Looks like he has a new CD coming out the end of this month...

Would it have killed him to find a picture of a galaxy to put on "Galaxy" instead of a planetary nebula?

I have everything on LP through the mid-80's (before he took a left turn into pop/funk which included producing as well), but started back with CD's in the early 90's (after he took a bit of a musical break). You'll find a couple more Audioholics reviews of his stuff if you check my (new) signature.
