Issues getting MCACC to recognize my subwoofer

I just installed my new pioneer 1016 with polk 6880 home theater speakers/sub. When I did the auto setup (MCACC), it recognizes everything but my subwoofer. Any suggestions?

Does your sub have an "auto on" feature? The detection signal to the sub might not be strong enough to trigger the "auto on". Just something to consider.

Try turning the sub itself up a bit.

That's why I am a nubee....I put the cable in the wrong subwoofer jack (Multichannel analog audio input) vs teh Multichannel pre-amplifier output jack. Thanks for the assistance.
