Is there no sync adjustment on the Onkyo TX-NR646?

Is there no sync adjustment on the 646? I see an auto lip sync option, but the a/v is not quite right. If the video is running to the TV out of the Onkyo, how would it know what the sync needs to be? I just "upgraded" from a 626, but the 626 had a manual sync option.

I didn't see it in the manual either, seems also to depend on your tv being compatible to the auto function. Too bad they eliminated a manual adjust function.
