Is it possible to get cable music channels to my Bose soundlink mini (Bluetooth)

I have a Yamaha RX-V477 so I know I would need to get a Bluetooth adapter for it. But assuming I do, has anyone been able to get the music channels audio from the cable box to a BT device. I run my cable box through my receiver.

If so, how do I do this..

Since the receiver does not have pre-outs, your best bet is to connect the RCA outs from your cable box to a generic BT transmitter. Then (assuming you have the channel numbers memorized) you don't need to power up the receiver and TV.
