Integrated or Separates?

My current system is comprised of:

Sony 9000ES Processor
Rotel 985 Amp (5x100)
Denon 2900 DVD
B&W Nautilus 805s (fronts) /HTM1 (center)/CWMs (rear)/ ASW 3000 (sub)
Mits 65712 Rear Projection

My question. I am considering upgrading my ES9000 as I've had it since 99. The Denon 5803 caught my attention. For the money, is it better to go after a separate pre and keep my Rotel amp or should I further consider the Denon? Just Curious. Thanks.

For the price thier are quite a few seperates you could go with that would be better IMO.
