any one knows where i can find info on:
current R&D in high end Hifi?
who and where are new products and line extensions ocurring?
industry dirction and any other relavent info?

I am of the opinion you went into the wrong forum. This site is not for high-end stuff but mostly for your mass market gears like receivers. And I am not entirely sure there's one site that says it all. I'd do a Google search of specific products or technologies to have a better picture of what's available and glean the trend from what those sites tell. Just my 2 cents.

I dunno if this is the kind of thing you're looking for, but check out noted speaker designer Brian Cheney's (aka "The Big B") take on the High End. Bear in mind Brian's speakers won Best of CES outright and were in the winning system the last time, too.
