In-wall control interference?

I am wiring a home system with in-ceiling speakers and a sub. Do I need to be concerned about putting an in-line volume control switch in the same box as light switches with dimmers?

Thanks in Advance.

Yes you do!!! There are some Hi/low junction boxes out there, but I personally wouldn't use them. You will have a lot of interference, esp. from a dimmer. Keep the low voltage away from the high at least 6-12 inches. :D
I like to keep high and low voltage seperated by at least one stud wall bay.

Hope that helps

And be sure they are on separate circuits too! If they aren't, you'll get a nice buzz in your system that won't go away.
