here is the 25 pound monster

and here is the challenge

I want to put the CC on top of the tv,
so I came up with this,
mounted base blocks to the back of the stand
(don't look at the wires, that got cleaned up) :D

and made these

.

.

bolted them to the base blocks.

And even had a nice place to mount the FM antenna

And the finished brackets work perfect !

.nothing touches the TV at all

.

.

.
. so there is my cc project ! :)

that's great work!

maybe move the door stops a little back so the inclination isn't as pronounced.

thanks Mike,

I thought I did ok when I used a laser level and shot the angle to head level in the listening positions, this room is 19x17ft,and the cc is about 16 feet from the main listening seat

should that angle be different ?

wow, laser level! i guess that's the ideal inclination then ... i'm just trying to avoid the center sound bouncing off the tv top early

maybe move it forward if possible (and safe)?

I made a slight mod to the setup,
the shelf still does not touch the tv
