How to move a big tube tv?

I move those sets regularly for work. When a new system is installed we often move the old set out of the way wherever the customer wants it and we also do service work in shop so we have to move those sets as well.

We do it with a two man crew. We aren't monstrously big or strong and it isn't exactly fun but we often end up having to move those sets by hand. A pair of Atlas gloves (those ones dipped in grippy rubber stuff) does wonders. We also wear back braces.

My least favorite set to move is the 40" XBR tube. I cringe at the thought of those sets. When we can, we use an appliance dolly but it's often impossible to due obstacles and the fact that 36"+ sets won't fit through a doorway without going sideways.
