Hooking up external amp...

Ok, thanks to the recommendations from members of this forum, I have decided to power the front channels of my Yamaha RX-V2400 with an NAD 3240PE Integrated amp.

I just want to make sure I'm connecting everything OK. I run standard RCA patchcords from the "Front" L&R Pre-outs of the Yamaha. I remove the jumpers from the back of the NAD and connect the above-mentioned RCAs to the "Amp In" jacks. The volume control on the NAD will now be dead as the NAD's amps will now be controlled by the Yamaha. Move the Front L&R speaker cables to the NAD, run YPAO and I should be ready to go.

Am I missing anything?

Sounds like a plan.

...seriously, I think you've got it.
