HK3490 Optical Audio Problems

Hello all:
I am having issues with a HK 3490 2-channel amp. For some reason it has just stopped recognizing the optical audio signal coming from my Apple TV unit. (2nd gen. apple TV...)

Any suggestions on getting it to recognize it? I tried a new optical audio cable but that doesn't seem to be helping. I also tried it with another ATV that I have in my home (which I know works) but it does not recognize that either.

I am still in my warranty period. Should I just exchange or is there a simple fix? Model number HK 3490.

Have you ruled out a change to any settings? Double check that the input selected on the receiver still knows that it should be getting its audio from that optical input.

Try RESETTING the receiver..
