Those who read the Onion's AV Club will already be aware of this, but a few days ago I found a section in there called 'A History of Violence', which is a weekly column that looks at the most important action movie of the year starting from 1968. It is great stuff! I just finished reading all of it, and I can't wait to see the next entry. It really is on point with respect to action movies. I am a big action movie fan, so this is good stuff for me. It reminds me of Ruthless Reviews Guide to 80's action movies. For those action movie fans who don't already know about that, they need to look at that right now. Hilarious analysis of 80's action movies. Good times! Their review of Commando is an all time classic.
