i have a grado rdi headphone amp and am wondering how to hook this up to a rotel 1067. should i use the zone 2 or go direct from my rotel cd player?
I found the circuit for that headphone amp. It is high impedance, so I would connect it to the the zone two audio out, or the tape out. In the former the volume control of the Rotel will still be active, on the tape out it won't. However on the Rotel the output source at the tape out has to be selected from the "other" menu, so you would have to go to the "other" menu and change the record out assignment to change your source devices. If you are only going to be listening to one source, then I would use the tape out.
