Hi all! I am very excited to purchase my first HDMI capable receiver. I am looking for a recommendation for a good quality HDMI cable that doesn't cost a lot. I will use it to connect a 4k TV. The run will be a 10 to 12 feet. Thanks!

Just adding to TLS Guy post, on the home page there's a post, Audioholics Christmas Gifts For 2016, interesting section on new HDMI cable, worth a look...

All my HDMI Cables are Monoprice. I used the Active Cables (Directional) which some people don't like, but work great for me. I just wish the didn't stop making the braided cable ultra slim ones.

For Non 4K content and Non Active Ultra Slim Cables

For 4K Content Active Ultra Slim Cables (I use these) Much easier to work with than thick cables if you have 5+ or more HDMI cables running in and out of your Receiver/Pre Pro. Downside is that they are directional and that you have to make sure to plug in the right way. I will never use a different cable as these work great for me.
