At first we didn't care much for portable Bluetooth speakers, but products like the Divoom Bluetune-Solo are starting to be attractive. They're completely battery powered, so you can literally pick them up and go and they beat the pants off the audio coming from your iPhone or laptop. What do you think?

Thanks for an interesting read

I like the concept of these speakers too, there's just some issues around here....
- The cableless speakers is an illusion when it comes to Divoom's Bluetune-Solo, they need power via USB cable, so there will still be cables, if there were builtin rechargable batteries

- Good idea with daisy chaining, but how to daisy chain them, via cable... at least it's what's illustrated on the website, is it possible to daisy chain them via bluetooth?

- How are we gonna get 2 channels working?

- The design is so interesting and nice, but the result of this nice design is that the 2" speaker plays straight upwards, fine if you keep your head straight above the speaker but it may be a bit tiresome in the long run :D

Still I like them and would consider them :p

Divoom also makes something they call a mini home theater :p

Oooops, missed that with rechargeable batteries, but they still need to be charged by cable.....
