Hi was wondering if any one here has connected 2 PS3's together within the same house for head to head gaming? By what method did you use to accomplish this and what did you play? More specifically has anyone done Burnout Paradise? I want to. But can not come up with a clear answer via googling. Thanks for your input...Yes I know about the online play...satellite internet is prohibitive. :(

In college we did this with the original xbox. We already had a really long ethernet cable throughout the house. All we did was plug each end of the ethernet cable to each xbox (in different rooms) to connect them and hook each xbox to a separate television. I am sure it would be very similar of what you would do with the PS3. We played Halo: Combat Evolved on 2 t.v's, I think it supported up to 8 players total, 4 player split screen per t.v. Good times! :D

I forgot to mention we needed 2 disks, one in each console for this to work.
