Check out my B&W Signature 7SE inwalls that I build enclosures for. They sound great by the way. Thanks to Mike Sheehan at B&W tech support for his enclosure size recommendation. The bracing is all my own design. Let me know what you think.

I like

I was thinking about doing the same thing....The only thing I would suggest would be to flush mount the bafflenext time, that would give it a nice flush face. But it is vey nice. Now it is time to paint those brick walls :p

That is just the walls of the install bay at the store I manage. I did not want to put in too much effort into making them look nice. I also thought that flushing them could possibly interfere with dispersion. I am more into performance than looks. Thanks for your comments. :)

I see...How do they sound? Better then being in the wall?

They sound quite good. Very neutral. VERY smooth lowend rolloff. I have them bi-amped right now. That made a difference vs. regular. They are a good reference monitor. I think the bass response is slightly overdamped though. I am going to play aound with the box volume a little to see if I can correct that. Other than that I am very happy with them. I will also compare them to DM602 S3's soon as I will be upgrading my HT setup. PSB to B&W.

The more I have listened to these over that past week or so the more impressed I have become. They sound very nice. Quite dynamic too.

For away-from-walls placement, you need to compensate for baffle diffraction loss effect using a 6db/octave shelf filter, approximately -3dB attenuation potential, center frequency based on the baffle width.
