If you get tired of FX extravaganzas, this is an interesting break. This is a sort of documentary within a documentary. It follows a French thrift shop owner who wants to make a film about grafitti masters but instead things get turned around and he ends up staging a huge exhibition of his own "art" in an empty LA office building that is filled with hundreds of objects, at least some of which might be art. He isn't really an artist, but that doesn't matter, because the movie turns around and then the street artists are narrating about the guy who started out making a movie about them. The exhibition proves to be a viral phenomenon and people pack the place

I don't know if this was the intent, but this movie seems to explore the distinction between art and fraud. My impression is that not only can you not answer the question, but does it really matter?

As strange as this sounds, this is an interesting and entertaining movie.
