European specs and German proficiency?

I have long been frustrated by the lack of test specs on the Marantz SR6001. Today, I found some test data in a German publication!

My German is pretty rusty, but, to me, this reads like the Marantz SR6001 and the SR7001 are identical as far as performance goes!
Is this correct?

Zu allem Überfluss lieferte der 6001 im Labor identische Leistungswerte wie der 7001 – Marantz hat anscheinend nur das gestrichen, was eh niemand braucht.

Then I went to SR7001 test results from the same publication:
It looks like the SR7001 puts out 99 Watts into 8 ohms and 130 Watts into 4 Ohms with 5 channels driven:

Does anyone know what effect the European current differences would have on these specifications? Is it reasonable to assume similar performance from units on 120VAC?

If so, the SR6001 is more robust than I suspected. I do know it has 2 ea. 18,000uF 71V Capacitors, but have not been able to find the size of the transformer.

Seriously, I have no life.

I doubt it will make a difference. The current will be much less in the primary of the transformer, but the current will be the same in the secondaries.

I don't read German. However, the audio specs for for both receivers are identical on the Marantz USA website. In addition, the power consumption and weight are the same, so it would appear that the only differences are in features other than amplification.

The ten watt difference is trivial, especially since they both weigh the same and consume the same amount of power. I would think it likely that they use the same amp section and just rate them at different distortion levels. Notice they quote neither distortion nor frequency in the power spec. Since there don't seem to be any test results for the 6001, the best you can do is find them in a store and take a look inside. Maybe the output devices in the 7001 have a slightly higher rating, but I doubt that there are more of them. In any case it seems pretty unlikely that ten more watts is worth worrying about. This is all just my opinion, of course.
