The big deal about the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 is the price. At $999, you can't find very many projectors out there than can compete. You certainly will have a hard time finding one that is designed with a home theater in mind and not an office. The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 has all the inputs, features, and, most importantly, resolution, you'll need for your home theater. All without having to settle for a business class projector or breaking the bank. With dual HDMI inputs (one MHL enabled), 3D support, and more, we're sure the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 is going to be a hit.

As much as I like Epson projectors, the Acer H6510BD is hard to beat for the price. At introduction, it was $629 shipped from Newegg. It's DLP-based and also 3D, 1080p capable sporting 3,000 lumens. Testing indicates it's actually closer to 2,500 lumens, but that's still very bright.
